A UN assessment mission has arrived in South Ossetia to get first-hand knowledge of the humanitarian and human rights situation on the ground. The delegation will spend two days in the Republic, starting in Tskhinval before moving on to other war-affected areas.
Ethnically cleansed from their homes, huh?
New terminology the U.S. can use to motormouth!

Hopefully the UN will find facts and not just excuses to justify its political agenda! Clearly Georgia attacked South Ossetia without provocation and Russia simply defended South Ossetia. Russia should be praised for the actions it has taken!!!

"ethnically cleansed from their homes."
ethnically cleansed?
from their homes?
ethnically cleansing - is killing people of same ethnic. Ossetians were ethnically killed, yes.
But Georgians in S.Ossetia weren't killed. They were replaced from their homes, yes.
But 1692 Ossetians were killed by Georgians! It's FACT. It is terrible act of genocide.

It's too bad that the ethnic Georgians that also lived in S.Ossetia can't be interviewed because they were ethnically cleansed from their homes. I do hope the truth is revealed to the public in the UN general assembly.
