Thanks for this video! I had to make this rocket for physics class and I had never built a rocket before and I just wanted to see someone else do it to make sure I did an okay job. And I did :)

@MrJumpersun yes, thats right. It has a small charge in the opposite direction, pops the parachute.

Also can u just glue the shock cord to the inside layer and is the engine mount necessary, cause it's just there to hold the engine steady?

@DKsaNn7 yup, just glue the shock cord in. The engine mount holds the engine steady but it also holds it in place; without it the engine might take off and blast right through the rocket, leaving it behind! Have fun with it. Just build it according to the plans. That's part of the fun!
