DK64 marked the end of Rare's DK days, but not the

  • I miss the old Rare...

  • I still don't understand why DK 64 isn't on Virtual Console. I know rare made this game, but Rare mentioned that that they do not own the rights to this game, but Nintendo does. Seriously, this should be on Virtual Console.

  • @simplyxwilliam I think it's because the N64 version required the expansion pack, which VC can't emulate.

  • @simplyxwilliam Size limitations I'm assuming..

  • @simplyxwilliam Maybe it's the Jetpac mini-game in Cranky's Lab. Rare owns the rights to Jetpac.

  • @SilverNinjaUmbreon There is always the ESRB

  • @simplyxwilliam Probubly size reasons

  • @simplyxwilliam they were able to put all dkc games on virtual console, so what makes dk64 any different

  • @simplyxwilliam Tell me about it! I loved the DKC games as a kid on the SNES but i've never played this one... :(

  • @simplyxwilliam maybe cuz they said hell in the intro. plus.....microsoft does not own the rights to DK64
