These are photos never seen before of the events at the St. Paddy's Day Parade in March of 2007 in Colordo Springs. These were gotten through subpoena and discovery from parade spectators, and also some from a friend. They show, first of all, No obstruction of the parade at any time. They also show Elizabeth's wounds closeup, including some shots taken int eh ER, Eric thrown to the ground, Betty's arrest, and a lot more. The audio is the police radio traffic from that day with the LIES they were told by parade organizers, their overreaction, and a bizarre reminder to the dispatcher that they were equipped with "40s" rubber bullets, and tear gas chemical weapons, if needed. The audio has only been edited to remove dead spaces and static.

  • The good news is ALL charges have been dropped for the remaining 2 accused, Elizabeth and Eric. The prosecutor claims to have a case, but blames the jury system for the lack of conviction, so dismissed all charges.

  • @kaiseradrian13 The cops reported the wrong thing to the commanders and when 1 tells the others that we had a permit, they ignore it. The ability of of the parade organizer to abridge anyone's 1st amendment rights on an American street, subsidized with public servants, has been stopped.

  • It doesn't matter if this protest was legal or not, it was excessive force when one considers the non-threatening nature of the protesters. Civil disobedience (if that was even the case here) does not need to be met with any form of violence in 99% of cases.

The appropriateness of the protest doesn't matter, if there's no threat there should be no violence.

Finally, the fact that the government has so much power over peaceful protest is a disgrace. Gov't can't put protesters in a box.

  • and also, i have to express sadness that the group had to watch while the police went ahead with their abuses

    .

its a true sign of a sick country when the authorities can abuse citizens in public, then if the public interferes they too get arrested [lawfully]

  • the helmets they are wearing make them look just like the stormtroopers they are

  • @KamikazeKoscki not perhaps, it HAS to be up to the American people or we will lost our voices to the elite...

  • @millenniumchildrockI know. Nothing more annoying than people who follow the law and government to the tee, in everything, because they can't develop thoughts on their own. They need rules, and laws, and a government to guide their every action, and the moment someone steps out of the system to protest peace and an open mind, something the government doesn't want you protesting, they freak out. Sad...

  • @bignhairydude what is the crime they committed?

  • So they have a permit(which they don't need to freely assemble and speak), and they get brutally abused and injured and put into cages.

When do charges get filed against their assailants?

  • @brsw you moron ! they had a permit!
