@MrStig691 The US provided orders of magnitude more equipment than Canada to the British, so that's wrong. A full three fifths of the soldiers at D-Day were American. The rest were Canadian and British- so you're wrong there, too. It was planned by a combined staff of Americans, British, and Canadians, not just the British. A good thing too, because Market Garden showed what happened whenever the British took sole command of something.

What is an "air engine", exactly??! If you're talking about the PNEUMATIC motor, it's not British-invented, but French (Andraud and Tessie of Motay, 1840). The RAMJET maybe? French as well, René Lorin 1913

"Fraid" the French contributed to the creation of North America more than any other nation. Most major city was a former French settlement : New York City, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and so on. Simply look at the size of Louisiana before the purchase... As a matter of fact, they also contributed to the creation of "our language and culture" throughout the 4 centuries of French-Norman domination of England. They were also the ones kicking you out of the US

Is it me or does the guy with a name model after the Stig with numbers seem like a prick? First off simple pyshics would dictate if his arms were tucked in this would not have happened.

@deathalert So you're a Brit Para then?
-
@pavlorestis No, that IS the correct way.

@d4yogurt What garbage, we received even more convoys from fucking Canada! Just because you've heard so much septic shit, doesn't mean you need to spout it yourself. D-Day, was a British-based, British-planned, British-launched and mostly British-manned operation. We couldn't land without what? 2,000 Us troops dying at a strategically insignificant beach? Refusing to face the enemy in combat leaving it to the Brits to mop up the actual resistance, at Caen?

@truchrishill1 NPL, not DARPA. Net 1 was the first packet-switcher. It is British Jet technology which has shortened routine journeys in such a manner. APRANET was one small precursor network, of many; France even set up their own. You have any clue have any idea how the Internet works troll?
when the guy in front hits the ground he's gonna be like "where the fuck is everyone?"
