hip hop artists talking about how they want to get money is the kind of spirit that drove america to greatness. the problem is how they preach they should do it.

we gt a dumb president doesnt even know shit about hip hop.
Yes it wasnt a bad message for someone who doesnt know anything bout it, when rappers were talking real shit back in the days especially 2pac, public enemy; some of us where listening back in the days but the presidents n the people who have power were not. So he shud be attacking those in power that do not allow real hip hop to be played on tv.
Hes listening to Jay z n kanye west not even chuck d of public enemy. Da dumbest leader

@gregory5626

yup thats it. hes like twenty times better than the "bushes" just because of his attitude.

real hip hop culture contains a attitude which is quite idealistic and hopeful.

i was already expecting a "yo word up man!" after the interview....

greetings from germany

Al Sharpton's views on Hip-Hop and gansta rap with these degrading lyrics being sold to our young people is more straight up than Obama's answer. Sharpton slams these record companies for that kind of corruption.

Look, real hip hop is not what you think it is. What you hear these days is just a bunch of untalented rappers who think theyre good and who are only rapping about girls, money and cars.........thats not what hip hop is about.
