Go-Go Retro! Driver - Playstation 1

Similar in some ways to the GTA series but without being able to leave your car, 'Driver', as the name suggests, is all about you, a cop, posing as a driver for hire in the criminal underworld.

The game really captures that 70's car chase feeling and with the ability to record and put together your own car chase movie clips, a series of stories missions and some bonus mini games there's a lot on offer here.
Highly recommended and a game you should be able to find fairly easily and for a bargain price too! :)

Great gameplay mate. Still looks good now. I remember the AI being quite dumb and easy to loose lol Still a tough game, one i never completed

@cod2fan Yeah the cops are a little silly at times. :) You should try playing it again, the last mission especially is pretty hectic. :)

Christ! I haven't played this one for years. Like you said, graphically the PS1 shows its age now. But for the time they were solid enough weren't they. Enjoyed the review mate. :)

@MENDEZ1628 Good to hear mate. :) Yeah a lot of the PS1 games are showing their age in terms of graphics but there's still a huge amount of fun to be had on the system. :)

I remember my dad buying me one on launch day with Ridge Racer and the original Wipeout, bloody amazing day that was, lol. :)

@Drexus80 I know what you mean mate, it would really require a full playthrough and all the best bits edited nicely into 1 video- it deserves that! Truly epic game :)

@Drexus80 lol true :) i think the graphics have aged really well though, looks nice and bright and the colours are excellent, ive never played the sequel though so looking forward to when you cover that one Daz :)
