maybe they cancelled it after realising how much they'd get sued with copyright infringement cases caused by the line 'copy from the web' :) oops... wonder how their legal department let that one get through...

This is Microsoft at their best, being inventive and coming up with something that even a Mac user would be interested in - that's me by the way! :) ... instead hacking away at Windows - this is the UI they should be investigating

They must freaked out at Mikrosoft of how this is user friendly. This airheads will never ever sell something so user friendly. When I saw it I instantly want it. Even now in year 2013 when Im writing this on my iPad Im so overhemed what Im missing. I dont know about any app which can do this on my pad. I wish I had one.

Its a concept video, i'd expect the actual product to have an entire ecosystem and app store. I think if Microsoft developed this instead of the surface, they would have a highly desirable product that instead of trying to catch up to the competition, would define an entire industry. Its 2013 and still no product (besides the ipad) has wowed me as much as this concept.

a good example of a product with an interesting stage demo, but ultimately limited and boring in the hands of a real consumer

I still think that the Courier is way more interesting than the Microsoft Surface. This is just my opinion though.
