Final Cooper Touchdown, 10/29/2010

Abilene Cooper beat Abilene High, 45-28, in the 2010 "Crosstown Showdown" in front of 17,000+ fans at Shotwell Stadium.

With the win over the defending state champion Eagles, Cooper improves to 9-0 on the season, and at least a share of the District 3-5A title. Both teams had previously secured berths in the 5A Division II playoffs, so Abilene High still has a chance to defend their state title.

what kind of camera do you use?????

@33mrfine I'm the Chief Vidoegrapher for KTAB/KRBC, the CBS and NBC affiliates in Abilene. I used my company-issued JVC GY-HM700 ProHD broadcast camcorder for this clip, recording in 720/30p 35Mbps mode. This is the raw MP4 file straight from one of the camera's SDHC cards. The lens is a Fujinon 17x internal focus designed specifically for 1/3" chip cameras.

For everyday news shooting, we record in 1080/60i, but I wanted to try a more "film" look during the game.
