Hi, I wondered how I could force update my game. You see, I have the old start up screen, and I attempted to install the mod, which resulted in me receiving a black screen every time I try to open my inventory.

@oledidrik1 Download the new launcher or just go into the .Minecraft folder, bin folder, delete the version file, start the game and it should re download the Minecraft.jar

I liked your video, and subbed, but I'm having problems.
See, I followed your guide step for step, and for some reason it still isn't working.
I'm currently running the paid version of MineCraft, 1.8.1
I did notice some differences between your mod folder and mine. You had a lot less items in your mod folder, and mine didn't even contain a readme. Do you have any idea what my problem could be?

@Kuhnfuze Mods change over time. Try installing mod loader with it.
