My Jindo is also around 12-14 years old (adopted as an adult). When she was younger she used to "take herself for a walk". We wouldn't even know she was gone but would open the front door and she would be sitting there looking up like she was saying "hello, let me in!". Best dog I've ever had.

@xChocolatess Jindo has a lot of energy. They need to be taken out for walks daily if you live in an apartment. Preferably an area where they can run freely, probably a fenced in dog park. They should be able to play for an hour or so. Jindo need to be socialized early, otherwise, they'll get aggressive later on towards non-family members when they are older. Make sure they don't get bored too much, entertain their brain with fun training. Hope it all goes well!

@koreanblood777 Depends on the type of whine and the behavior that goes along with it. Lots of dogs whine to let their owners know they have to pee, play, eat, are scared, or want attention.

im reading all the previous comments & im gonna get a jindo 2 days later, everyone says there jindo ran away but i live in an apartment & it cant run away but what if it wants to. will itgo through depression & have stress ?
