Why does Terry McAuliffe think FOX is "Fair & Balanced"?

It is deeply detrimental to the longterm interests of democracy when Democrats praise and support FOX News. This would be true regardless of who that Democrat is, but it's particularly heinous when Terry McAuliffe, the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, is singing their praises.

"Let me congratulate FOX," McAuliffe said this past week, "because you were the first ones to call [the Pennsylvania primary] for Hillary Clinton." McAuliffe, who is also chairing Clinton's Presidential committee, actually echoed the FOX mantra by calling them "fair and balanced." What is so dangerous about McAuliffe's praise is that FOX is now using his words as a TV ad to prove just how fair and balanced they are.

Jonathan put together this video as a reminder of how exceedingly unfair and imbalanced FOX actually is. These are just few gems to let McAuliffe and others know that FOX is the foe, has always been the foe, and will continue to be the foe of accurate reporting.

Please help us in this quest by sharing what you think have been the worst FOX moments. We will send the list to McAuliffe as a firm reminder that he must not applaud FOX.

There only thing fair and balanced about this network is that they show both sides on MOST issues. What they don't show is that one side (for example global warming) has billions in agreement and five nutjobs who aren't. Problem is they portray it as though it's equal on both sides. Fair and balance just means they give the nutjobs as much time and voice as the vast majority that stand against them without pointing out the simple fact that the debate itself isn't a balanced one at all.

@TehKoolaidkid Our government destroys crops and pays farmers to do it, when it could simply be given as a charitable donation to the needy. Its been this way since the great depression. Honestly, how many people who work and work well that end up on the streets and die? Really. Right now there may be a lot of people out there that can work, and probably could have had work for a lesser wage, but they didn't take the job because it was less than unemployment. People over extended themselves

@TehKoolaidkid The reason that government was the last in line, is because it was a bunch of bureaucratic BS to get anything done. When these entitlement programs go into place the government takes a rather large piece of what could otherwise go straight to a truly needy family. All of the entitlement programs put in place thus far are basically bankrupt, and are failing for various reasons, but mostly due to ridiculous abuse.

@TehKoolaidkid What I find odd is that everyone wants to hold on to what they have, yet so many want what they have for free. "THAT is unfair, THAT is bullshit." THAT is why people were given tax incentives and breaks for donating to charities. It used to be that if one could not care for them self that the next closest family member would be obligated to take of them, then the church, then the government. Churches used to be open to allow people to sleep in them, yet they lock their doors now.

@siradon2000 We've all got opportunities. Unless you're specially restricted, you can become as big as Bill Gates if you want. He started very early in life, with his own idea of a business. He deserves what he worked for. But there are tons of people in the opposite case. There are people who work and work and work, trying to survive, but they end up on the streets and die.
