do you believe this?
I'm not sure if I believe in miracles such as these when the soldiers followed an inanimate object... how can things be sacred when spirituality and God himself is the only thing that is truly holy. I am not being sacriligous, I myself am a Catholic I just question the holiness of objects on earth, besides actions (such as the loving ones people do for each other) Nice painting though, I saw it in Genazzano, but it wasn't certainly floating off the side wall of the chapel.

For example, we were told the Holy House of Nazareth was floating on air and had not foundation ( the foundation is in Nazareth the house is in Loreto, Italy).
The custodians of the Shrine took us under the house and we could see for ourselves air space between the ground level and the house floor.

According the the Shrine at Genazzano it is not attached to the back wall and is floating. You are correct, you cannot see this. I believe it however.
Just continue to keep your open mind and the Lord will reveal many miracles to you. Your open mind is your greatest gift. Cherish it. and let it stay open and do not hesitate to doubt just do not close your mind.
