Uga Buga/Worship - Prehistoric Dinosaur Cave World Theme 2 (Tribal Beats)

This is on Rareware.com, but mine is based on N64 soundtrack version (Dramatic intro stops when Conker requests something "with a bit more of a beat"). Two loops.


I've been sitting on these for a couple of years now, and only recently did it occur to me to upload them here.

-HISTORY-

I love the Conker's Bad Fur Day soundtrack. It is inspired and eclectic, and it deserved more than a select handful of tracks for each album. After getting stiffed for the second time, I became fed up. I found the X-Box game disc, tools for exploring it, audio mixing tools, and took matters into my own hands.

@hackensac It sounded like "Follow Squifache" to me, with "Squifache" as their own primitive attempt to pronounce the game's bastardization of the scientific classification for the red squirrel ("Furrius Squidgeterrius," instead of "Sciurus vulgaris"). But "Fire Escape Hatch" makes sense too and I never thought of that.

@hackensac If we're talking about the Uggas' chant in the "Worship" chapter once they start following Conker, which I do remember hearing in the remake. It just sounded differently to me in either version.

@DoctorPhileasFragg I've never heard the Xbox version of the chant so I have no idea what it sounds like. I only know of the 64 version

@hackensac They're both the same. All the dialog is the exact same recording used in the original, but uncompressed.

Well, there are a few exceptions. Anything that was changed or added is a new recording.

Rare died after this and Perfect Dark Zero, you know when othr compinies take over their games (Donkey Kong Country Returns, Goldeneye 007) then there is no hope...

@sifusocky Lol, me too. I can whistle Windy (& co.) near perfect so the flute in Tribal Beats (the Uga Buga chapter's main theme) is amazingly easy for me. I want to get a bunch of people together so we can do the entire song... but there aren't too many Conker fans in Groton. Oh well

This is by far the best song in the game. I only wish I could find a version without the talking but this will do quite nicely so I can be reminded of that funny line.
