When did I say there was no official definition of the word gay? Read my comment over again please.
I respond to people who say "That's so gay" with "oh so it's attracted to objects of the same sex?" to point out how ridiculous a misuse of that word it is. Sounds pretty awkward and ignorant when you actually point it out.

There is no official definition of the word "gay" that means "bad." It's a bigoted misuse of the word implying that being gay = bad, therefore the word gay should be used as a pejorative for otherwise "bad" things. Using "gay" to mean "bad" is the number one way to prove you're ignorant and have a limited vocabulary.
