Yamê performs at Spring Caravan 2009 (Rakkasah)

This is the video of my May 3rd Spring Caravan performance. That was my first time performing at Rakkasah and my first time by myself on a raised stage. It's surreal to see myself on THIS stage. Only around one or two years ago I was inspired by a lot of performers at Rakkasah and could not imagine myself stepping on that same stage.

I know I still have so much to improve, but I have come a long way. I don't mean to be super corny, but I do wanna thank you (my viewers) for all your help and support. I know I don't respond to every single comment (unless it's a question), but I want you all to know that I am reading everything and I really appreciate it. The feedback I receive from you has played a major role in my realizing that I can make an audience happy and in encouraging me to continue.

This is wonderfull performance and yes I think you can make an audience happy!!! No doupts about that!

My only comment would be to show us how much you love your music. Not so much about the choreography (witsh is excellent) but about feelings. I guess this is a long aquired skill, witsh I do ot claim to possess... Keep dancing!!

Thank you :) The song name is Yasamina, and it's by Al-Ahram Orquestra. For future reference, always look for the info to the side of my videos... I always name the song and artist on there.

why would there be any dislikes??! you are very beautiful, in fact there is something very natural and unforced feeling about you. I think you should keep the feeling that you have on stage now and don't let the pressure to perform ever take that something special that I see that you have. I used to belly dance and have a lot of performing experience, so I definitely think you've got something
