Shes fantastic, if only the High Fashion crime scenes, photo book was cheaper i would buy it, from what ive seen its great. Really great.
Though i would pick up on her thing about crime scene photographers, from what ive heard its the exact opposite. The people taking the photographers have had no experience, and thats why for the most part you get really strange compositions. With very busy scenes, where its clear the only brief is "Get as much as you can in the frame".

Melanie Pullen is one of the most amazing photographers living today. I was lucky enough to see her body of work in a museum about four or five years ago.

I liked her work before i saw this interview. it seems like she's not conscious of fetishizing fashion to the point of replacing human conditions with it.
