[ALTERNATE TITLES] Stargate: Universe [with SG-1 theme]

Yay! After months of silence from me, I'm back with a new busy-work project that came to me when I was utterly disappointed that the new Stargate series, "Universe" only had a 5-second title card instead of the usual minute or so opening sequence like it's sister shows have! I took a couple of days on this, and really tried to push the limits on how I use my editting programs, so I hope you all like this!
Images kindly provided by the official Stargate Universe website, and editted in GIMP.
Clips from episodes 1 to 4, thanks to the Scyfy Channel.
Footage editted and compiled in Sony Vegas 8.0.
SG-1 Theme used because although I love both SG-1s, and Atlantis', I feel SG-1 is the more dramatic and fits the piece/show better.
I kept Ming-Na in the credits because she WAS listed as Main Cast by Wikipedia and during the premiere, and then seemed to shift from episode 3 onwards, and omitted Louis Diamond-Phillips beause he was always listed as a prominent guest-star (and frankly I don't like his character yet).

you should have used, the destiny theme, SGU is a little bit darker than the other series so this kinda theme is a little bit lame for the show, but great vid and spec effects. change the music

Ive been listening to the SG1 theme for 10 years, enough is enough. I agree with razorgeist....the end theme to SGU would go over your title sequence great.

Stargate Atlantis theme would have worked better, it isn't so triumphant, more underlying with darkness...

This is actually very good! But you do know sg atlantis had a brief intro like sg universes by the time the last few seasons came about

Great opener but I agree that you should try another one with a different theme. This was the best series of the entire Stargate genre. Down with SyFy. Bring back SGU!
