i have impetigo now and im on mupirocin (bactroban) ointment, its beginning of day 2 and its less red i hope it goes away.did yours ever clear?

Dude, I'm pretty sure I had the exact same infection, took about 2 weeks to go, left some light scarring which completely after a year or so. Never had it that bad again, but I would get small patches of it on my eyes or cheeks when I got stressed. Haven't had it at all now for about 8 years. Wishing you a speedy recovery dude.

@plusBln thats where your wrong, i am a first responder... this is a staph infection and mrsa is usually contracted due to lack of hygeine

@backatchalol i dont think this has something to do with hygiene. i am no doc, but guess it is most likely the same like hpv. some get herpes and some dont. although almost everybody carries the virus.
