is he changing his tuning while he plays? (i know he obviously does at the end) but i saw him turn his pegs twice early in the video. if so does anyone know what tuning he is in?

He's not re tuning, He's trying to hit the right harmonic.

yeah, use artificial harmonics. Wooten rarely uses them, but Jaco Pastorius did all the time.

He does that same thing every time he plays this solo, if you watch other videos. Idiot. I love when people start clapping along when I play, most people do. Especially when he makes it almost like a Gospel sound, what can you expect? He's doing that at 3:25 because it's part of how he compiled the song, he plays it every single time, the exact same way, with that same part, regardless of clapping or not. Look into something before you post stupid shit.
