Beautiful footage of great engines as always at The NJ Live Steamers...a great place with fantastic members. However, I do have to wonder...where is George Parsons' NYC Hudson? He keeps promising me a ride on it, and I NEVER get to see it running! I'll have to take it up with him at the next Greenburg show...and I WILL!

well last year i was part of what we call a triple header at another club. we had i think 9 passenger cars and 6 freight cars all of them with people in them. that was ten tons of train and we pulled it no problem, with no sand, and no one getting off to push.

Late reply but I hope they can pull more than 1 ton of weight seeing as the weight of these engines I keep seeing is around 2,500 lbs. But hp isnt what you should be concerned with to be honest. Trq is the pulling power you should be concerned with. I would have to say they very well could be in the triple digits on trq. Too bad I cant find information on how much power these engines put out. Would really determin which setup I would choose if I ever made one.

How many horses you think these babys crank out, there not full size but I bet they could pull a ton of weight.
