  • What if your saying "that" as in "That is what im trying to say" so basically using "that" in the terms of reffering to a "is" statement.? or would be another word used?

  • @ShiningStarChloe . It depends on the situation, not every phrase we have in English can smothely translate into Japanese the same way. But to answer your question, yes, "that" can be used in that sence. One example is "that is a lie". それはうそだ
