  • I grew up watching the original series and remember liking it alot, but after watching the entire new version of BATTLESTAR how anyone can still call the 1979 version better or superior to the remake needs help.

Its like saying Batman Begins was shitty compared to the 1960's Movie.

  • You obviously aren't intelligent enough to appreciate the new series. Unsubscribe.

  • @Rainbow6Team Wrong Dip-shit! If the original was never made one day Glenn A. Larson, you know the creator of the series would have found a group of producers to make his show & stories come to life. Maybe not in the late 70s or even the 80's, maybe not til the 90's doesn't matter, the original was cheap, under funded and lasted 1 season and then came Glactica 1980...nuff said of that train wreck.

MACROSS = New BSG Awesome. Robotech = Old Galactica.... whack!!

  • @macross25

You're the one that needs help

Without the original, there wouldn't be any remake you dumbass.

  • any1 remember sheba with her 5 inch nails:)

  • @macross25 THANK YOU! It's good to finally hear someone who watched the 70-80's series and then the 2003 and not diss the new one. I've seened the whole of 2003 and some of 79, but 2003 always just felt better. Story, music, characters, all of it

  • @TheDoubledutch1971 Sexism never fails to make you smile? Gods almighty...

  • @macross25 Batman Begins does not have the Bati twist! and the new BSG does not have aliens with lumps on their foreheads (they are missed) :P

  • @knoxvilleguy2 Mr The Dune saga was written long before Star Wars, Jabba is a copy of God Leto II...

  • Nice!! New BSG is fantastic with the old music. :)

  • @KronnangDunn - Yeah, David Lynch. Anyway, that version of " DUNE " was mostly forgettable, even though it was the 1st time I saw Patrick Stewart on film or TV ( as Gurney Halleck ). Frank Herbert's work, just IMO, had some superficial influence on the Star Wars look & ambience. Maybe Luke Skywalker w / the SW version of the Dune " Messiah ".

  • @knoxvilleguy2 David Lynch...
