Jan Ladislav Dussek (1760-1812) was a Czech composer, whose compositions influenced a lot of later musicians and whose style was pathbreaking for the Romantic. His last piano concert (no.11), which originated two year before his death, is one of the great virtuoso concerts of the early 19th century and it is one of the first "brillant" concerts. In contrast of other compositions by him around 1810, this one is full sprit and amusement, furthermore, the piano part is very beholden.
