this is me bench pressing 235lbs there is 4 45s plus 2 10s plus 2 5s plus 2 2.5s plus the bar is 20 which equals 235.
i am 5'7 158lbs and i am 18 years old

  • i believe that is only 225 lbs. looks like two 45 plates two 35 and two 10. and that's a smith machine. the bar on that isn't 45 it's 35 and the smith's helps you stabilize and the assistant takes off like 15 lbs. so it's like bench pressing 200 lbs.

  • #1 why would you do half reps, full extension is vital for bench.

    #2 You're using the ladies aid bench press thingy, (I guess you didn't have a spotter)

    trust me it makes a big diff. and this shouldnt even count as 235 because the bar on this bench press usually weighs about 22 pounds not 45.

    Other then that, clean lifts, good intensity, keep working at it man.
