@AnonymousXtinaSinger She was originally a Soprano with her dexterity to hit many consecutive falsetto notes with ease however as the years have passed this ability has faded due to improper technique. Now she is either low lying mezzo Coloratura Contralto or Lyric Contralto. Her natural voice WAS light but even now with her technique improving it remains dark.
@AnonymousXtinaSinger She never struggles to belt above a b4? Gurl PLEASE lol. Either your ears have been clogged with earwax for years or you are in deep denial.
And if ANYONE is hopping on a bandwagon it is YOU with the "Christina is a soprano" mess. She isnt one, no matter how many times you type it she will NEVER BE A SOPRANO.
@jasmine178100 She Never Struggles To Belt Above B4. Thats A BandWagon That Everybody Including You Is Hopping On. And Jessica Is A Lyric Soprano Meaning Her Voice Is Higher Than Christina's. Anyway Christina Is A Great Singer Not Technically Speaking But Shes Great
@AnonymousXtinaSinger Her tessitura is NOT high. If it was so high why does she struggle with notes above b4? As @Stefano94x pointed out, jessica simpson has a high tessitura but has way more easy with soprano notes even with her bad technique.
What people fail to realize is that Christina is a Dramatic Soprano. She can hit notes well into the soprano tessitura (F5-G#5). But the only thing keeping her from doing it with ease is her technique. Her natural speaking voice clearly shows she is a soprano. Her tessitura his High but its Dark hence reason for her being a Dramatic Soprano.
@MsTreysongz1 Yes, I know what it means. You don't. Hence why you're making no sense. If you wanna recognize someone's vocal type, tessitura is fundamental. Her tessitura is not high, and for the record, having a high voice doesn't make you vocally superior. Jessica Simpson's technique is worse than Christina's, yet she is clearly a soprano.
"nor are you understanding her vocal type is a soprano" She is not, so there's nothing to understand. Oh.
@Stefano94x all you do is keep repeating about tessitura as if no one but you know what that mean cus you are so smart 0.o, i have seen and hear her live watch her live performances and she has sing in those tessitura i keep repeating because it looks as if you are not getting it, nor are you understanding her vocal type is a soprano , build a bridge and get over it
@MsTreysongz1 That stuff is not only wrong and inaccurate but also clearly repeated with no real understanding over it. Hitting notes has nothing to do with your voice type. One thing is vocal range, one thing is vocal type, which is based on your tessitura. Christina has never sung anything in the soprano tessitura. Her falsetto shrieking does not count as range. Deal.
@Stefano94x . soprano are know for their high notes and for their solid C (C4) to "high D" (D6), christina can hit those notes, her voice can soar to dramatic vocal heights quite easily and return to a base octave without strain. just because of her dark timbre or technique you think she is mezzo soprono she is not , kelly clarkson and xtina some how have the same range and they are both spinto soprano , not copying from any where i am telling wat i know.

@Stefano94x Christina is not a mezzo, she is more of an alto. She only sounds good up to b4. She just has a large vocal range.
