the hit was a classic organized hit. we were all conditioned to believe that the "authorities' were above doing something illegal. in fact the authorities beliveved that king was the one operating outside the "law". all a hit team had to do was have knowledge thatking would stay at the lorraine motel location. the area around was already scouted and a patsy just needed to be placed and then an APB put out on the dude. king was personna non grata to alot of powerful people and they him.

Regardless, I am happy to get this extra vacation day. You know White business owners (that was redundant) bitterly resisted giving their employees the day day with pay. But with pressure from Jesse James Jackson, Twanna Al Sharpton and Louis ( I slept with Gaddafi ) Farrakhan major businesses were forced by already senile Reagan to make this a holiday. The fact that we don't have a JFK, or a Bobby Kennedy or a FDR Birthday Holiday shows that most politicians are pussy's. But damn, a day off!

People people people.... Raul was a figment of this mans imagination. This isn't Manchurian Candidate. He wasn't playing with a full deck mentally and he ended up murdering one of the greatest minds of the 21st century. Case closed.

If Ray did shoot King, someone had to tip him off that King was staying at the Lorraine Motel.  I think he was also helped with cash, fake IDs and so on. He was there at the particular time and place just by accident.

I have a question. Why is it that whenever there is someone that is trying to make the world a better place they alway get assassinated by some lone nut who is an expert at killing, but a joke at trying to get away? Ray bought the gun 6 days before which means he had much time to think and plan everything out. We're talking about someone who escaped jail twice. Why would he leave the evidence behind in a perfect bundle for the police to find? This is a more plausable question. Please explain.
