my 1st time at wembley...disappointed to have lost of course, but just glad to be there in the 1st place cos the year before we almost went into oblivion...if truth be known wolves were worthy winners & a very good team under graham turner but im so proud to be a claret...great memory for both sets of fans im sure...

I was there just short of 15 (born 1973) first time I went to Wembley, but what great days we had every that (considering we could have been relegated from league football a couple of seasons before). I still have the Wolves cap from that day, must be worth something.

I was there as a 15 year old lad, first trophy that I ever saw Wolves win live, the memories are still with me now, 85,000 + in wembley, I think that year the Sherpa Van had more fans attending at Wembley than the FA Cup final but I cannot be too sure on that one, great game, great atmosphere, now both clubs are in the Premiership, fantastic. Cheers

I was there too. A great day, spoiled only by the result!!
At least we won the pre-match game!!
I'm hoping we Clarets can join you in the Prem next season.
Thanks for sharing. :)
I certainly hope you can join us too. My dad is a lifelong Clarets supporter and I've visited Turf Moor with him as well. Great club, and great fans!
