Here's Ernie and me on the TV show PassTime. I think it came out awesome! A few things went wrong, you can see my front brake rotors glowing at the end of the pass so I ran a few seconds slow. Somehow Ken Herring knew the back window of my van opened up and a jet engine stuck out, I asked him about it afterwords and he said that he been around a long time and it was pretty obvious that we had another one of those there jet engine stealth mini vans on our hands again. They're out there, you just don't know which mini van is one of them until it's too late...... Anyway, they also left out my 700 foot long burnout, there's another video in my account that shows it.

Thing is, if you tell someone that your van has 10k hp, they would never give you a time estimate of 20 sec for a 1/4 mile race. The jury obviously saw how those vans performed before this recording. Even if those turbines had just a litle over 1k shp, how come the race took so long? That was like 15 seconds, and that´s the time a 200 hp car gets...

@nandoanalog The van's front brakes didn't fully release, you can see the front rotors glowing at the finish line. The van usually runs in the 11 second range, it weighs 5200 pounds with the driver and puts out about 700 wheel horsepower so it pretty much runs wher it's supposed to.The pickup is the one with all the horsepower. he didn't use full power as out of respect for me he wanted to have a close race. We didn't get paid for this so there was noreason for him to run balls out.

@krugtech I guess I`m an idiot then. Sorry.. I actually want to get a couple turbines in an old bmw, but I really have no knowledge about turbines. Dont even know where to buy them, let alone understand them.
