  • i am scared of back walkovers on beam, what should I do to get over my fear

  • first get it on low beam really solid (start with some panel mats on each side). then go to a medium beam (if your gym has one) and do it with the mats stacked up underneath. take 1 8 incher out at a time until you only have one left. then slide all the 8inchers to a high beam, and repeat. if you need a spot the 1st time on high beam, with or without mats, thats ok. just take a deep breath, count to 3, and go. you will eventually get it.   • @PandaBannaHead Sme! :o I do them on a bench first. Then a red beam (Which is like a red strip) Then I go to floor beam then high beam! Aghh!

  • Haha, good job. I can do it like that, but we have to lift our legs now! Ugh! It makes it harder because you're going off of ONE foot then!
