Afghanistan belongs to Afghanis. The debate now is on getting regional leaders to work with Taliban and Afghan Govt to establish peaceful relations and governance. Praising deaths of Taliban doesn't make it alright nor help.

Military strategy is one thing that is always on the new.

When will somebody suggest a truce. By that I mean one month of total peace, where both sides of the conflict agree to stop all attacks. At the end of the month if the truce has held then progress with another month of peace, and then suggest talks between regional and national leaders of the different regions.

There will be no peace until peace is established, and in my opinion it has to come soon rather than escalate the conflict which has no resolutions being suggested. How can talks and negotitations take place when both sides blame each other ?

It is time for both sides to fly the White flag of peace.

Most of these taliban fighters are dead! Killed by the hands of freedom fighting Americans. Imagine Afghanistan with no taliban...it would be a good country. Surrender and live or fight and die!
