Drum and bass impro 2 : phat bass?

Hello. here's my second live sequence and effect manipulating session. I just had this cool bass sound and riff in the head. I just tried this time to film it with my webcam using the not so great quick capture function of my cam (not youtube's)... The sound sucks. next time i'll use my sony handycam again.------------
made with ableton live. some vst synth and some effects like BP, LP , limiter and saturation that's about it...

What are you using to do the reverse and note repeat stuff? Are you turning on and off an effect?

@emoboi86 hi, yes that's it, the pads turn on or off an effect depending on their value. you can use the pads in toggle mode as CC or note on/off depending on what best fits your software. if i'm unclear, its because i just woke up, yet i hope i did answer your question there :p

that's the thing man... if we don't both use the same i'll have trouble telling you...

I use Ableton Live and you don't really need the edirol's manual for that just 2 or 3 tutorials on ableton will do cause it's just sample triggering.

But since i don't know what program you are using i won't be of much more help :(

this one cost me 200euros, 170$ maybe, but keep in mind it's only a midi controller. ( i realize a lot of people forget this part :P )

Wiring in through Live is the only way these days! Ableton rools all DAW.

@Powerslave2493 actually everything is midi right there. keys and buttons send midi notes to the software on different channels. and the knobs send control change signals on a specific channel too. so maybe i didn't get you there but i'm actually triggering everything via the pcr , nothing other than midi comes out from it.

i hope some of my answer is at least helpful / not too confusing. you can message me if you need more, this video is old now, i'm building some new setups but still can reply
