he had trouble keeping his bw under 85, in this comp he was the heaviest. bw 84.86 i think. but at bejing he was the lightest out of the medal winners, 92.73 around there.

Why didnt Ilin stay in 85 divison. he could have set unbeatable records in c&j and total there.

The third judge needs to get his ass wooped

Lu Yong had to lift 214 again to win gold ......and that time juries reversed decision which was good lift......in reply it was clearly visible that there was arm bend at the time of locking

It's because the press-out rule is REALLY stupid! So some judges are too strict (usually at smaller meets) and others too lenient (with big time lifters). The 85 kg class at these last olympics serves as prime evidence of this.

See, you need not need to understand what judges do sometimes.
Often they call a lift good where you could see pressouts and so on, even amateur see that but they give white lights.....
I would have given all 3 lifts as a good (white light).

Why the one red light in the two first lifts? I thought it would be because the oscillation of the bar but the third lift had it but got 3 whites.
amazing.. but isn't his jerk technique unique? His front feet doesn't travel much as compared to the back. What are the pros n cons as compared to the normal technique where both feet travel front and back equally?

its sort of unique I suppose, not that unique, he has short legs so it doesnt go the far forward I guess, his back leg goes to the side and makes a nice bend.
