It is not compulsory for you to wear a wig or glamorous dress- it is purely to your own digression. If you hate the fancy dresses and wigs then don't wear them. Instead of commenting on the outfits and appearances then maybe comment on the fact that these kids are awesome and very talented and skilled dancers who have obviously put a lot of time and effort into become world champions and if they thought they wigs and dresses were horrible they wouldn't wear them.

My dance school does not let anyone but champions wear wigs or makeup. They say you may curl your hair if you want but nobody bothers.

@jyggyhobyt if your under 11 u can wear a wig once ur in ard and u can wear it 4rm u5 all the way up 2 seniors

i think when you wear the sparkly dress and big huge wig and makeup it makes you feel like a champion. I love dresses up for feises, but I am a girly girl and could understand if somebody prefered a more natural look. I must admit at times I want to kill my wig. These children are amazing dancers and to reach that level is just amazing. All dancers who get to worlds level or nans are amazing in my eyes
