  • Do you have any evidence for the standard claims you repeat regarding the higher addictiveness and violence associated with crack vs powder?

    See e.g. JAMA. 1996;276(19):1580-1588.

  • @TheBloodybloodyhell As shown on the screen click for my sources in the info box. The link, I labeded (Racial Disparity in Sentencing) the 8th paragraph. That's where I go my info from

  • @macadon

The New Republic is not exactly a serious source. Try ACLU's Cracks in the system: 20 years of the unjust federal crack cocaine law, in particular, reference 94, which I supplied in my last comment - the differences in addiction are mild, and there is little association with violence.

  • @TheBloodybloodyhell But you fail in understanding what I was saying u took it out of context. What I was saying is the reason people believe the myth that most drug users/offenders are black or minority is because they state that crack is addictive and cause violence more the powdered. Even when claiming that its not true that crack is more then what powder coke is capable of, That's the excuse they use when it comes to locking up & charging minorities.

  • Harsher sentences are for heroin possession, distribution and trafficking. The state of S.C. are trying to pass a law to make the sale of heroin attempted murder, yet Methadone(Just as dangerous as heroin) is legal, and there's methadone clinics all over the U.S. and Europe, operated by whites....More whites aren't in jail because of the alternatives they have, which are drug rehabs and mental hospitals. Suburbia isn't targeted as much as the ghetto either

  • @gmccall22 Excellent comment, these are situations they choose to ignore as to the reason why blacks are in prison more. They commit crimes all the time, Its funny how whites who talk about these issues always talk about how white on black crimes receive so much exposure but then when we look at intra-racial crimes the ones reported or the most exposed are mostly black on black.

  • @macadon..True about Intra-racial crimes ! Besides those honest, enlightened white folk ! The rest ignore what goes on in their own backyard. They act as though they're one big happy family. Shit like Columbine could have possibly been avoided......I'm arguing racists on Race and Intelligence. Even though it's been debunked years ago. They still push the BS that low IQ correlates with crime and poverty, and using Africa to support their BS argument...Glad you put the Africa vids up

  • don't get it. They are worst then MSNBC, Fox news, CNN and all the rest of them. They believe everything they see on television. For some black folks if they are not talking about god or how bad black folks are they have nothing to say. To them if it's not bad news it's no news.

  • Another thing I really don't like especially coming from the older generation (45-60 ages) see things like that had it all together and we blew it, the younger generation. It's funny how they forgot the those of the younger generation where not even around or very small kids when crack was at it's height. More black people were going to prison then. Also those black folks that only hightlight the faults of black folks, those that are very crucial of there own people. I feel those folks just....
