@BigBabySugaBear I think the best peformance he ever gave and yet he tellls on the DVD extras that he just walked through this role, which I can't believe, him screaming in that mirror "I know Who I am" scared the shit out of me and the scene with Krusmark at the race track was phenominal!

@agetro82 All the people murdered help Johnny Favorite hide from Lucifer, remember Toots helped him kidnap the young soldier, the docotr hid him for $25k, Krusmark and his Daughter paid the Doctor to hide him and fix the paperwork, The lawyer knew everything so he has to go no loose strings. Epiphany was his daughter and she practiced voodoo and witchcraft yet she didn't give him up even though she knew he was trying to get info out of Toots Sweet.

@agetro82 Well, I'll tell you how I see it. A singer named Johnny made a deal with a Satan to became popular and to pay him with his soul when he die. But afterwards, he changed his mind and decided to escape his obligation. So, he found a young soldier and took his memoirs in woodoo ritual and started to live his life, having both - his own memoirs and soldiers memories also. But, later, he went into War and he was hurt and there he lost his "Johnny - memories". Now he is only a soldier

so let me see if i got this right. So johnny sold his sold to lucifer for success, backed out of the deal, picked a young soldier to transfer his soul into his body? Upon doing so, he gets drafted, gets hurt and suffered from amnesia. So why didn't lucifer just claim his soul right afterwards? And why did lucifer have him target those specific people? He did mention that he was framed (from lucifer) but was that to get him in trouble with the law allowing him to get executed?
how terrible is wisdom when it brings no profit to the wise, Johnny....
