Wow she can really sing. It's too bad they didn't give her the credit she deserved.

Barbara does a great version of this song.

@PrincessBlue791 You are so right ! It is unbelievable to not have someone like this on the Top 100 radio tunes in the 60's. Her voice is so soothing and smooth at the same time not to mention ultra sexy.
-
Because Barbara made an independent deal with Dot, 'Ed'- unlike Sally Field, who recorded HER album for Colgems because she was under exclusive contract to Screen Gems/Columbia...and they wanted to capitalize on her being "THE FLYING NUN"' (which is why she appeared as "Sister Bertrille" on the cover). It wasn't until after "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" became success in its first season that Barbara actively pursued her singing career (she had some doubt about her singing abilities until then).

@PrincessBlue791 You are absolutely right on. Her singing talent was overlooked by Hollywood. Most people did not know this side of Barbara Eden.

@jfko6 Thanks for sharing that. I moderate some Yahoo music sites on girl groups/girl singers & they'll be delighted to see this.
