I don't know much about bombs, but I wish their was a device that you could put on the front of the first vehicle that would detonate any ied bomb within what ever the safest range is before the convoy gets to it. I see the many ways in which this plan could backfire lol, but it was just a thought.

@HHHdahman The crusades were as complicated as vietnam. the real reasons are not completely known for sure, but it was all done under the guise of religion. My response was to the comment that badgerattoadhall made which was.... "the crusades were justifiable war of self defense" which was entirely untrue.

The crusades were justified by pope urban. Remember, he deceived the CHURCH into telling people that they can go to heaven by joining the crusades. And intolerance? It was more of a conquest for local lords to gain more land. Im pretty sure they could have given a flying fuck what the pope had to say.
