EDF RC Jet Soulcry Part 1 HD

Hi guys, so here is my new homebuild Sport-Jet all composite and molded.

My maiden flight with that beauty was yesterday.

technical data:

Length:
Weight: 8.300 g with 12S (Lipo Weight 1.600 g)

static thrust: 85-90 N, around 400 kph airflow, at ~36V, ~158A, ~5650W, 25.520 RPM

Powered by Haoye 5" Fan, Scorpion HK 4035, ESC Robbe Roxxy BL-Controll 9120-12 120A/150A Peak.

On 12S Turnigy 5000 30C at the moment, but it´s to much load on the ESC. Can hear it in the Clip,, on
3/4 Throttle max on this flight.

Not bad for a 30$ fan, but to much load I think around 160A on 3/4 throttle on this flight, thinking to go to 10S Lipo, or a other fan system, Dynamax Extreme from XPS sounds not bad...will see.

The difference of all other, its electric powered xD I´m going a little away from turbine flying too EDF Jets.

With the name of that Beauty Í´m not 100% sure...Soulcry, Soulblade, Soulgate, or something like that ^^

Wow.. very very nice! How long have you been projecting this ? Brilliant maiden! It goes very quick off the one fan, flies very smoothly. Thought of adding a shock absorbing spring loaded system for the nose wheel? Can't pick holes in that man, what a great peice of work, well done.

@Sharma17 Thx man! You could not see it, but all gears are spring shock absorbing :) Self made from steel with swing arm. I think it´s our airfield that is not in best conditions...but was thinking of put on a softer or harder spring or other version more backwards swing arm.

This project was planned at the End of December 2009.
