  • Neat, I've never seen Army stuff on a train before, but they are not American but most likely former Solviet equipment. At 1:02 and beyond there's some T-72's for sure and I don't know about the rest. The T-72 was built with a low profile to be easily concealed and a smaller target. As a result no one over 5'? could fit in one. The US never owned tanks that short

  • Thank you all for your comments, very interesting responses! KEEP THEM COMING if you know more!!! Dean H.

  • Is it just me or was a lot of that equipment, if not all of it, old Soviet equipment? The US doesnt have any tanks with those rear fuel tanks. Those looked like T-72s or T-80s. And I see a BMP-1 and a couple BTR-70s. And I dont know that that thing is at 1:08 but thats not an American vehicle! These my friend I think are for target practice!

  • I was hoping someone would have more knowledge of these than me! I dont have a clue about tanks so any questions are coming to YOU! "ASK NICK HOUR" lol!! Target practice...... sweet! Thanks for your input. Dean H.

  • is this old footage?

  • Let's read it together......March 1993.

  • @mygirl22ward your 100% right i haev been a army track vehcial mech for many years and the military takes russias old shit in trade for one or 2 newish Abrahams M1A1's keep that model in mind to set up for armor target shooting AND aerial bomb drops 108 looks like a anphib to be honest

  • Nice catch, that was a soviet BMP-1 at 1:03, nice.

  • @tjmfishing Probably to be used as target practice.

  • Wait I think the Canadian military has some old soviet tanks...I know they also have American equipment but I think some (very few) soviet tanks and armored personal carriers......Just another guess. lol

  • @tjmfishing ahah dude I'm like wtf is with the Soviet equipment. Maybe some used in a movie? Or the military bought them to test weapons on them? Who the hell knows.

  • Love these classics!

  • Awesome video!! 5/5 Cool lashup!

  • Love the power consist! GP40-2, GP39-2, another GP40-2 and a Conrail C40-8! Also nice to see that Grand Ledge is basically unchanged today from what it looked like back in 1993.
