Taft was a great president, he drove a car, had a solid brass tub, started the presidential first pitch and had a Moxie Soda tap installed at his desk. Also, he was a History Teacher, not a politician!

Taft is a dunce, Theodore Roosevelt and him were friends but after teddy saw everything Taft was doing in office he ended that friendship and ran against him with the new bull moose party. To bad Wilson won that election imagine all the good teddy could have done. Also teddy hated the nickname teddy.

@hirofan Actually sir, I know a little about American history, and what you're saying is a little jumbled.
The Spanish-American war was a foreign policy taken on by McKinley, Taft had no involvement of it. The Phillipines war, which was a complete and total different war, didn't really have much to do with Taft either. Yeah, a ton of Filipinos died in that war, but Taft was only elected major after the dispute was settled. Taft was an EXTREMELY passive president compared to Teddy before him

He also was responsible for a split in the Republican Party: There was a second Republican Party in 1912 , the progressive party ; their presidential candidate was Theodore Roosevelt. Because there were now 2 republican candidates , the democratic candidate W. Wilson won the presidential campagne.
By the way : these cartoons are meant to be funny and make kids interested in history. They aren't a 100% accurate but what the hell, as long as they know the big picture. (BTW I am a history teacher)
