Yes. This is a true baritone with high notes. His singing 30, years go, would have been second rate.
He is a good baritone and he belongs to the stage, no doubt. And I am sure that in the theater he sounds even better. I liked him. I will listen to more things by him.
Just, in MY opinion he could sin with more of, what I call, singing with class.

Es curioso como algunas personas que pro alguna razon se frustran por no tener un material vocal suficientemente bueno para llenar sus espectativas egocentricas se fijan mucho en la musicalidad, afinacion... porque solo con un material mas alla de lo comun puede llegarse a emocionar al oyente. Cuandoson cantantes, se decican, entonces, a repertorios de operas raras y a cantar oratorios... que sin decir que es mala musica, si lo son sus interpretes
