i can honestly say its a blessing to be a vol. firefighter. It feels really good to save someone. To me and im sure others the reasons we do it is to give back to our communities, and show them that we care alot about them.

When I'm called to duty God wherever flames may rage give me strength to save a life whatever be its age Help me to embrace a little child before it is too late or save an older person from the horror of that fate I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me to guard my neighbor and protect his property And if it is your will that I have to lose my life Bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife. We are sometimes called selfish but we as Firefighter will risk our life for another people thinkits an easy job. What it is a responsibility we have to serve and protect our community. Thank you to all support the brotherhood we call firfighters.

ive been a volunteer for about a year now, the nights are long, breaks short, and the images ive seen grotesque enough to break most men, but i couldnt ask for a better band of brothers to be with

im 16 n i just left school i really want to be a firefighter wen im older ,this prayer is brilliant . i want to say a big thank you 2 all the firefighters in the world the retired and the ones now . x
