I was 18 and living in Chicago's northside when this hit. 1976-70. I thought you'd hit 18 and you'd be an adult and time would stand still. But it didn't. I just had my 50th birthday. And my first winter spent up in the snowy north with my highschool sweetheart seems like it was a thousand years ago. But this song makes me feel as if time could bend enough for me to reach out and touch 1976.This song is atmospheric.

I wish my generation (i'm 25) would make music like this instead of all the justin beeber BS that everyone is obsessed with lately.. this is an AMAZING song... I could listen to it all day long!

A VERY different take on this song in my mind always had a constant visual...a fresh outlook is always good - not bad!

Man I was a teen when this came out . We had one hit wonders that were good . But it was the Album artist that rose . Seger , fleetwood mac , eagles , boston , steve miller a endless list . They might make better movies today . But we had the best of music . I can even remember being in places to the songs .

@nakas05stang Amen to that my friend. So many changes to be made if only possible.
Night moves was my 1st tape. 1987 I was 10. I got That and a little red tape player. Played it til it wouldn't play and got eaten. Remember that? Tapes gettin eaten and winding them back up and praying they still worked?

@copycat33633 I do remember that, but I'm only 18 so that happened to me a LONG time ago when I was a little kid, long for me anyways. I do remember that though, they'd make funky sounds when they were fried.
