I took my lyrics and fudged them with danthewelches melody. still needs work and a better recording but this is what i've got.

It's because he's being forced to sing his lyrics to a melody he didn't write. I've been through the same problem and it's really a downer to have to do something like that. I eventually ditched the song completely...

ha...i think you said it best man. It is pretty hard because the words you create have a unique flow with their own melody. I've added a newer version...with more spirit.
