Self Injection for Wimps!

If you're Transsexual, there is a very good chance that you will get your hormones via an IM Injection. (IM = IntraMuscular = in a muscle) It is much more convenient to self inject than rely on someone else.

The thing that makes self injection so difficult is getting over the idea that you are about to shove a piece of metal into your leg! This is a way of doing it if you can't just jab yourself in one quick motion.

Thanks so much for this video. I am going through IVF and have to inject myself and I was scared until I saw your video. The bouncing worked and knowing I only had to get through the nerves in the skin was very comforting (I wasn't going to feel it past the skin). Good luck on your journey!  Wish me luck on mine!

I guess that it is because I am secure in who I am; just like Translnsight is, too. People need to understand we are not all the same and if you don't like something about somebody, then just learn to look the other way -- it is not your place, Ueberlegsdir2ma, l to try to belittle this person!

I have to give myself a B-12 shot every month, and I also have a strong tendency to faint. In fact, I've fainted when my partner gave me the shot. But now I just watch your video, more to listen to you walk me through the jabbing part, and it gives me the courage to get it done. Your video's really made a positive difference in my life. Oh you're so cruel! "Bounce it up and down a little" don't be so silly, push it in and get it over and done with before your brain realises what you've done, that's my response. I used to do it in my buttock but I've had to change, after 35 years of taking testosterone mostly by injection, I've run out of spots to use. :)

Thanks for your video! I'm a transman and I get anxious about shoving a sharp object into my body every week. Using your "bounce" method really helped ease the initial jabbing. Forcing it through my skin was always the worst part.
