@LaurenceLogic ..I wonder;where the believers can put their beloved free will concept,if the time(and i'm sure of it)is only an illusion of our mind..besides their biggest illusion, the Creator God,i suppose...don't you think the same??

every day psysics and philosophy are ,despite of the definition of high school, paralleles lines, that,i'm sure,a day will meet..anyway,seriously,in the 500 BC,Buddha said the time is only an illusion of the senses....theoreticalpsysics are already every day more difficult to distinguish from philosophy(except the moral one,naturally)....I find Penrose brilliant as,if no more, than Plato

@LaurenceLogic Since the 500 BC Buddha did say:time is only an illusion and now we have to admit that psysics and philosophy are even day more parallele lines..and i bet that a day they will meet, despite of the high school definition !!

maybe the most brilliant mind(with hawking) after Einstein...

@sitemountain @sitemountain if you're still interested, i can answer this for you. the problem is, we get caught up with the idea of size, but size is irrelevant. The microcosms and the macrocosmos are actually the same.

@210indyfan that sounds like some mumbo jumbo bro

@horsie111 Hes an ass.. I dont like the way he spoke to him..
He's like the British Richard Feynman. I'm warming to Roger Penrose more and more.

This theory has legs for me. Put simply it takes a photon 8 minutes to get from the sun to us (as an observer). BUT to the photon it gets to us at the same instant that it leaves the sun - time therfore is irrelevant and space is finite (basic relativity). If there is no matter left in the universe to act as an observer, then you have your singularity. Brilliant and simple.
