@lennonzappa71 this is actually the BBC version with OVERDUBBED bass... your 45 you remember was actually a remix for the US with MORE bass... this is overdubbed and remixed... a diff bass track altogether.

I have seen The Who many times and even got to meet them at the McDonalds on Niagara Falls Blvd. and Maple/Brighton in Buffalo - right after Magic Bus was released. All of them are/were great guys. Got all of their autographs on the back of Polaroids. We miss you Keith and John.

I used to own a US single with this particular version of "Miles" on it, with "Mary Anne with the Shaky Hand (the version found on the 1998 remaster of "Odds and Sods", not either of the versions found on the 1995 reissue of "Sell Out") as the "B" side. I wish I had kept it. @eyerockeyeroll, thanks for posting it; I thought I would never hear it again!
