  • She could totally sing for Disney. Not only is her voice beautiful on broadway it is the type of beautiful 'Disney Princess' type voice. They should create her a character!

  • Josh is great, but can't say the same thing for Sutton. Voice is nasal and the acting is barely there.

  • Her voice isn't beautiful at all - it's rough, nasal, and sounds like a cat's. She ruined the duet for me. Totally overrated.

  • They are doing a frog prince movie (pixar wants to split from disney so they may be doing more musicals again), maybe she'll do that.

  • Okay can I just say that I'm currently singing this song for my grade 8 musical theatre exam and my breathing is just the same as Sutton Fosters, technically my breathing is fine but my singing teacher inserted breaths or breaks to dramatise the piece. So I think that's probably what she's doing here what with her being a professional singer.

  • I can belt out a tune just fine, thanks, although I would prefer to sound like myself. Perhaps it is not obvious enough that I deeply admire Sutton and appreciate her work, which is completely unrelated to my attention to detail in the subject of correct vocal technique. I'm not commenting on her sound, acting, etc, only that I personally would prefer every singer to keep the ribcage lifted and breathe deeply by relaxing the diaphragm.

  • If you can belt out a tune like her, which I sincerely doubt.

Then you can make a statement like that.

  • (Continued)(3) I have a completely different sound that I am quite happy with and I do not wish to make it like anyone else's. (4) Breathing correctly helps singing/wind instruments, period.

  • I'm not going to argue that I'm better than her or something, when I know I'm not. Now if I may address the offenses laid against me: (1)I know she has a Tony and I don't. She totally deserves it. (2) Her sound is unique and wonderful and she doesn't need to change anything about it for the style that she sings in. I am a huge fan of her work and am not complaining about her sound.

  • i completely agree with spacemonkey110

haha i mean honestly the breathing thing... nto only is she fabulous but the breathing helps the sound. and the sound is fantastic sooooo yea.... could you do it better?????
