The Fabs arrive back at London Airport (now Heathrow) to a rapturous reception after their all conquoring first trip to America. Unusually the event was covered live on the BBC's regular Saturday afternoon sports show Grandstand, such was the importance of the event. Grandstand reporter David Coleman, more used to presenting athletics or soccer, was pressed into service to describe the scene at the airport
